I revisited the shadow on this piece since posting it to my blog last week to make it softer and more natural. It's a tricky thing because I have to paint under a really bright light, which creates harsh shadows, so I've learned that always have to come back and knock them back a bit to make them really look convincing. Thanks for looking!
