"Chocolate Covered Ice Cream," acrylic on panel, 5" x 5".
SOLD
Since I've been painting primarily in acrylic recently, for various reasons, I wanted to try to paint some "organic" pieces (i.e. food, etc.) in order to practice the smoother, softer transitions of an oil painter. This ice cream proved to be a great challenge, but I think it turned out well, and my husband was super-happy to have a supply of Byrne Dairy ice cream in the freezer for future pieces. Thanks for looking!
