Up on Etsy - Grandma's Pound Cake Recipe - Trompe L'Oeil Daily Acrylic Painting
"Grandma's Pound Cake Recipe," acrylic on panel, 10" x 8"/SOLD
As I continue practicing my paper wrinkles and lettering for my trompe l'oeil style works, I thought I might do some paintings that feature handwriting - like this recipe, in my own terrible scribble. I found this paper in my recipe cabinet the other day. I loved the yellow paper, and I remember the recipe was good, although I haven't made it in years. I think the most successful part of the painting is that little folded over tear right in the center of the top of the paper. Thanks for looking!
