| "Old Money," acrylic on panel, 10" x 8". Commission (SOLD). For this commission, the client sent me a couple of monetary notes from the 1800s - definitely the oldest things I've painted to date - and asked for a trompe l'oeil piece similar to some historical paintings he'd seen. It was a fun project, and I loved painting the yarn especially! Here's a little slideshow my husband put together for me showing some of the steps of this painting as it progressed. Enjoy! | . |
